Dr. Rodrigo Vallar
Dr. Rodrigo Vallar is known for his comprehensive approach to dental care and his compassionate, approachable nature that helps patients feel comfortable and at ease during every visit. He provides a wide range of modern dental services and finds the greatest fulfillment in helping patients improve their self-esteem through cosmetic dentistry and personalized care. Dr. Vallar has proudly served patients at Padonia Dental Associates for more than fifteen years.
Dr. Vallar earned his dental degree from the University of Maryland School of Dentistry, where he was recognized as an honorary member of the Gamma Pi Delta Prosthodontic Honor Society.
Outside the office, Dr. Vallar enjoys spending time with his wife and three children, supporting local sports teams, coaching and cheering on his daughters, mountain biking, snowboarding, traveling, and relaxing with a good movie.
Dr. Cody Wisnom
Dr. Cody Wisnom is committed to providing comprehensive, patient-focused dental care with advanced training in cosmetic dentistry, endodontics, and complex surgical procedures.
Through his residency training at the University of Maryland School of Dentistry, he developed advanced proficiency in both general and cosmetic dentistry, allowing him to provide a wide range of modern dental services tailored to each patient’s needs.
Born in Towson and raised in Jarrettsville, Maryland, Dr. Wisnom earned his Bachelor of Arts degree in Biological Sciences from the University of Maryland Baltimore County before completing his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree at the University of Maryland School of Dentistry, where he also completed an Oral Surgery clerkship. Following graduation, he completed the Advanced Education in General Dentistry residency program at the University of Maryland School of Dentistry.
Outside the office, Dr. Wisnom enjoys spending time outdoors and in nature, following the NFL and fantasy football, and relaxing with his parents and their two Dobermans.
Dr. Richa Dutta, Orthodontist
Dr. Dutta is a dedicated orthodontist who is committed to helping patients of all ages feel comfortable and informed throughout their treatment experience. Known for her kind disposition and friendly smile, she takes the time to answer questions and ensure each patient fully understands their treatment options. She is an active member of the American Academy of Orthodontists, the Mid Atlantic Society of Orthodontists (MASO), and the Maryland State Society of Orthodontists (MSSO). Dr. Dutta has also served as Chair of the Government Affairs Committee under MASO and is a delegate to the AAO.
Dr. Dutta earned her dental degree in India before completing the Advanced Program for International Dentists at the University of Southern California, where she received her DDS. She later pursued her passion for orthodontics at Boston University’s Henry M. Goldman School of Dental Medicine, earning both her Master of Science degree and specialty degree in Orthodontics.
Outside the office, Dr. Dutta enjoys swimming, reading, cooking, and spending time with her energetic twin children.
Jaclyn Kim, RDH
Jaclyn has been a valued member of the Padonia Dental team for more than 20 years, where her compassionate and friendly demeanor has helped countless patients feel comfortable and cared for during their visits. Originally from South Korea, she moved to the United States with her family at the age of seven and grew up in Baltimore. Jaclyn earned her Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology with a minor in Sociology from the University of Maryland Baltimore County before continuing her education at the University of Maryland Dental School, where she graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Dental Hygiene. She is also dedicated to continuing education to keep her clinical skills and knowledge current, and she is fluent in both English and Korean.
Outside of work, Jaclyn enjoys traveling, art, music, cooking, gardening, and photography.
Nikki Ziegel, RDH
Nikki was born and raised in Phoenix, Maryland, and has been a longtime patient of Padonia Dental Associates alongside her family. She earned her Associate of Applied Science degree in Dental Hygiene from The Community College of Baltimore County and is passionate about helping patients maintain healthy oral hygiene through the latest patient education and preventive care techniques. Nikki’s friendly, outgoing, and upbeat personality helps create a positive and enjoyable dental experience for every patient she treats.
Outside the office, Nikki enjoys spending quality time with her family, friends, and four dogs. She also loves relaxing weekends in Fenwick Island, Delaware.
Amber Thompson, Office Manager
A Harford County native, Amber developed a strong work ethic early in life while helping build her parents’ home from the ground up, sparking her lifelong love for DIY projects and problem-solving. As Office Manager at Padonia Dental Associates, she brings a hands-on, can-do approach to keeping the practice running smoothly and efficiently while helping create a positive experience for both patients and team members alike.
Outside the office, Amber is a proud mom of four and spends much of her time cheering on her two younger daughters at soccer games or playing in an adult league herself. She also enjoys gardening, yard work, hosting family gatherings, and spending time with her three dogs.
Meghan Morris, RDH
Meghan earned her Bachelor of Science degree from Stevenson University in 2014 before pursuing her passion for dental care at The Community College of Baltimore County, where she received her Associate of Applied Science degree in Dental Hygiene in 2017. She joined the Padonia Dental Associates team in the summer of 2018 and has been a valued team member ever since. Meghan is dedicated to providing exceptional care while helping patients feel comfortable and at ease during their visits. She finds the greatest reward in helping patients overcome dental fears and achieve healthy smiles.
Outside the office, Meghan enjoys balancing adventure and relaxation, whether she is hiking outdoors or curling up with a great book. She also treasures spending time with her husband and their Corgi.
